Show or hide your gender from your profile
If you don't wish to disclose your gender to other forum members, you can do so by adjusting your profile privacy preferences. To do this, click the Profile button found in the forum's top menu bar, and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll then be taken to an Edit Profile & Settings page, which once there, click on the Privacy tab. When the page loads, the first option you will see will be for Show Gender; simply select the No option if you do not want your gender to be known on the forum. Once this is set, click the Save Privacy Settings button found at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
When you have your gender hidden, this will prevent all visitors of the forum from seeing your gender. This includes forum staff members such as the main admin of the forum.

Hide your online status
If you want to hide your online status when visiting the forum, you can do so by modifying your profile privacy settings for the forum. When you hide your online status, regular members will not see your name listed in the Users Online / in the Last 24 Hours list, and will not see the online status in your mini profile like it normally would with your posts when you are online. Forum staff members will still be able to see when you are online, however. Your name will be seen in the Users Online / in the Last 24 Hours list followed by text that states: (Invisible) to let them know that you have chosen to keep your online status hidden.
To hide your online status, click the Profile button found in the forum's top menu bar, and then on your profile click the Edit Profile button. You'll then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page; once here, click on the Privacy tab. When the Privacy page loads, look for the Invisible setting and set this to Yes if you want to hide your online status from regular members. Once set, scroll down and click the Save Privacy Settings button to complete the process. Your account will be set to Invisible immediately after the settings have changed.

Hide your birthday & age
You can choose whether or not you want your birthday to be displayed to everyone on the forum. If you choose to have your birthday displayed on the forum, members will be able to know when your birthday is coming up to wish you a happy birthday! It's understandable that this may not interest everyone on the forum, so with that in mind, the software does offer you the ability to either partially or completely hide your birthday info from your account.
To do this, click on the Profile button found in the top menu bar. Next, on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page; once here, click the Privacy tab. Toward the center of this page you'll find the option for Birthday Visibility followed by a drop-down menu. You can set this to one of the following options:
Show full birthday (e.g. December 29, 1982): With this set, anyone who views your profile will be able to see the month, day, and year that you were born. Show month and day (e.g. December 28): If you choose this setting, anyone who views your profile will be able to see the month and day that you were born, but the year is hidden. Other forum members will see your birthday in the forum's calendar, but they won't be able to see what your age is. Hide birthday: With this set, no one will be able to see your birthday information on your profile. Your account will also not be listed in the forum's calendar.
Once you have the settings adjusted to your liking, click the Save Privacy Settings button found at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Prevent guests from viewing your profile
When you created your forum account, by default everyone including guests can visit your profile and see your public information. You can modify the privacy settings of your profile, however, to prevent unregistered guests from being able to view your profile, while still allowing registered members to do so.
To set this up, click the Profile button found at the top menu bar, and then click the Edit Profile button found on your profile page. You'll then be taken to the Edit Profile & Statistics page; once here, click on the Privacy tab. When the Privacy page loads, look for the Who Can View My Profile option. If you want to prevent guests from viewing your profile, select the Members Only option. With that set, click the Save Privacy Settings button. Your changes will immediately take effect.

Sharing forum activity
Your forum activity can be found by clicking the Profile button in the menu bar found at the top of the forum, then clicking the Activity tab. This tab will show most of your forum activity such as when you have made a post or thread, liked a post on the forum, or adjusted profile settings.
By default, this activity is shared with everyone, but you can adjust who can view your forum activity in your profile privacy settings. To do this, while viewing your profile click the Edit Profile button and you'll be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page. Once there, click the Privacy tab and you'll find the Activity option toward the bottom of the page. Here you'll find a drop-down menu with the following options:
Share with everyone: When this is set, your profile activity will be able to be viewed by everyone on the forum. This includes guests who are not logged into a forum account. Share with registered users: This setting will allow members of the forum that are logged in to be able to view your activity page in your profile. Guest visitors that are not logged in will not be able to view your activity page. Share with friends and staff: With this, your activity page can be viewed by your forum friends (members that you follow that follow you back), as well as forum staff members. The activity page will be hidden to all other registered members as well as guests. Share with staff only: If you choose this setting, the activity page of your profile can be viewed by forum staff members, but will be hidden to all other forum members and guest visitors.
Once you have made your selection, click the Save Privacy Settings button found at the bottom of the page to complete the process.

Preventing specific members from interacting with you
You have the ability to block interactions from other members, using something called your Block List. When you add a member to your block list, you can limit interactions with them in the following ways:
Hide this member's posts: When viewing a thread that this member has posted in, you will not see their posts. Instead, you will see a button labeled "Display Post". If you click this button you can see what the blocked member posted. Do not let this member start new conversations with me: The blocked member will not be able to start a new conversation with you. You cannot block conversations from staff members, however. Do not let this member follow me or my activities: The member will not be able to follow you, view your activity list, or see your email address. Block notifications from this member: You will not receive notifications related to actions that this member performs. For example, if the blocked member quotes you in a thread, you will not receive a notification about it, even if you have enabled notifications about quotes.
To get started, click the Profile button found in the top menu bar and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page; once here, click on the Privacy tab. On the privacy page, look for the Member Block List option found at the bottom of the page with a search field. In the search box, begin to type either the username or the display name of the member that you want to block and you'll see some search results appear as you type. Once you see the member you want to block appear, click on their micro-profile in the search results list. Once you have selected a member account to block, 4 check boxes will appear asking you which interactions you want to prevent with the member you chose. Check the boxes next to the interactions you want to prevent, and when you have made your selections click the Save Privacy Settings button found at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
Once you have a member blocked in your profile, you can return to the privacy page of your profile at any time to make changes. You can add or remove memberfrom your Block List, or change the type of interactions you want to block for any member.
